Good morning

Today is my Be Nice Day, take 2.
That is, No burning comments,
No dark sarcasm, just pure nice.

Last take failed miserably as I
forgot about it until the afternoon.

Wish me good luck.

Shine on you crazy diamond

My room is dark, too dark to see.

~nobody knows where you are
how near or how far~

I got the earphones,
I now feel complete.

My life has taken a new turn,
and I'm ever happy with it.

p•u•l•s•e

Mr. Stapleton was kind to give me
one of the most amazing concerts
of the 20th century. We are talking
Pink Floyd,
Comfortably Numb
Wish You Were Here
The Great Gig In The Sky
Another Brick In The Wall (Part II)
Money
and other favorites. All accompanied
by an awesome light show.

On a related note, my Fender is
up & running again.

That shelf

Things are pretty okay!
(Scrabble, anyone?)

I am in an emo-music stage, without
actually being emo. It is all quite
interesting. I blame Amiir for having
supplied me with all that James Blunt lol.

I think I have finally found a pair of
earphones worthy my attention >.<

Title inspired by Older Chests.

Far, far away

I'm in my favorite state of mind.
That is, a bit of melancholia, while
not being utterly depressed.
I wouldn't mind staying like this
for a couple of days, really.

Here's a song fitting my mood:
Tears And Rain - James Blunt

On another note, I got no
homework done this weekend.
Zero.
Nada.

Reality catching up

School is only days away, and I still have a
million things to do. Don't worry Mr. Munro,
the DBQ I did.

I really can't wait to move out. And I still
remember when Felix taught me that term.

Older Chests - Damien Rice
---
Older chests reveal themselves
Like a crack in a wall
Starting small, and grow in time
And we always seem to need the help
Of someone else
To mend that shelf
Too many books
Read me your favorite line

Papa went to other lands
And he found someone who understands
The ticking, and the western man's need to cry
He came back the other day, you know
Some things in life may change
And some things
They stay the same

Like time, there's always time
On my mind
So pass me by, I'll be fine
Just give me time

Older gents sit on the fence
With their cap in hand
Looking grand
They watch their city change
Children scream, or so it seems,
Louder than before
Out of doors, and into stores with bigger names
Mama tried to wash their faces
But these kids they lost their graces
And daddy lost at the races too many times

She broke down the other day, yeah you know
Some things in life may change
But some things they stay the same

Like time, there's always time
On my mind
So pass me by, I'll be fine
Just give me time
Time, there's always time
On my mind
Pass me by, I'll be fine
Just give me time
---

I was going to write a post

...but then I got too tired,

Good night, see you tomorrow.

Confessions by a night owl

  1. Let's start off with a song
  2. I like how life is completely unpredictable,
    it makes it more interesting
  3. Facebook makes me nervous
  4. It's time for another song
  5. I have a dream to spend a night at a café in
Tokyo, see what people I meet, what thoughts
come to my mind, just like in that book
  6. I'll never become a musician, and that makes me sad
  7. I want to go back to Malaysia
  8. The hours beyond midnight offer me harmony
  9. I prefer Asia over Europe, and cities over countryside
  10. Let Mr. Rice end this list as well
