So I'm very happy we installed that Airport Express two days
ago. Thanks to it I can now use wi-fi while sitting outside
my apartment, waiting for my dad to come home. Maybe an easier
solution would have been to bring the keys in the first place.
On another note, Twitter has got me. I'm barely using any other
internet community, including Facebook and, sadly, Blogger.
Although I do take a break selling coconuts over at Omegle
from time to time.
Sorry if you won't see me here often anymore, I might pick
it up later as well as make an update now and then.
Until then, meet me at Twitter!
By the way, if you have a suggestion for a catchy
long-lasting twitter name, leave your comment :)

Silence
It's been a while, and the internet just seems to be growing.
Zach started his own blog, good for him, and interesting
reading for me!
In my struggle to fight the boredom, I started twittering!
Have a look if you wish. It's even less formal than these
posts, and more frequent.
I've been thinking about what lyrics to include in
this post. I decided to go for Cage’s 4’33”:
----
This 4 minute 33 second piece of silence is both a pleasure
and an awful experience. Of course the time between each
movement is used by the audience to make all kind of
disturbing noises, such as coughing, which totally ruins the
experience. It also annoys me how most people probably
do not understand the greatness of this piece (I'm willing
to say that it is a bit over my head), but are only interested
in the phenomena. In either case, it's an interesting experiment.
Tomorrow is Friday and I just hope it'll be awesome,
I need something to happen!
Finally, since I'm such an awful friend (hey, at least I admit it),
I almost forgot: Happy birthday Zach Choy :)

Time machine
Seems my life cannot get much better.
With the last two days having been awesome
I just wanna return, over and over again.
My current favorite is Time by Pink Floyd
Don't waste your time, it's limited.
And all those days and minutes,
those are the great thing called life.
----
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
Fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain
And you are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say
Home, home again
I like to be here when I can
And when I come home cold and tired
It’s good to warm my bones beside the fire
Far away across the field
The tolling of the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spells.

Over 60
No, it's not over 9000, not yet.
However, to celebrate the fact that my
blog now has more than 60 posts,
here is a little something I learned in
Spanish class:

Being the first picture on my blog, the
"word cloud" summarizes the activity on
my blog since its beginning, and makes
more frequent words larger.
Happy reading.

Darkness
Blackouts make me realize how dependent we
are on electricity. In my case, I got so bored I
even decided to do Spanish hw. Clearly something
in the evolution went terrible wrong.
In any case, I had a wonderful weekend (:

I'm sorry
Sorry for that last emo post, we all have our bad days, no?
For all Lennon lovers, this is how I feel right now:
People say I'm crazy doing what I'm doing
Well they give me all kinds of warnings to save me from ruin
When I say that I'm o.k. well they look at me kind of strange
"Surely you're not happy now you no longer play the game"
People say I'm lazy dreaming my life away
Well they give me all kinds of advice designed to enlighten me
When I tell them that I'm doing fine watching shadows on the wall
"Don't you miss the big time boy you're no longer on the ball"
I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round
I just had to let it go
Ah, people asking questions lost in confusion
Well I tell them there's no problem, only solutions
Well they shake their heads and they look at me as if I've lost my mind
I tell them there's no hurry
I'm just sitting here doing time
I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round
I just had to let it go

Joy
Let me tell you something.
Happiness is what is left when we
have forgotten our problems.
What's the value of an emotion
based on ignorance?!
Now, leave me alone.

The show must go on
So ya thought ya
Might like to go to the show
To feel the warm thrill of confusion and
That space cadet glow
Tell me is something eluding you sunshine?
Is this not what you expected to see?
If you wanna find out what's behind these cold eyes
You'll just have to claw your way through this disguise
---
Pink Floyd - In The Flesh?
Just a little outburst.
ENJOY YOURSELVES!

Good morning
Today is my Be Nice Day, take 2.
That is, No burning comments,
No dark sarcasm, just pure nice.
Last take failed miserably as I
forgot about it until the afternoon.
Wish me good luck.

Shine on you crazy diamond
My room is dark, too dark to see.
~nobody knows where you are
how near or how far~
I got the earphones,
I now feel complete.
My life has taken a new turn,
and I'm ever happy with it.

Mr. Stapleton was kind to give me
one of the most amazing concerts
of the 20th century. We are talking
Pink Floyd,
Comfortably Numb
Wish You Were Here
The Great Gig In The Sky
Another Brick In The Wall (Part II)
Money
and other favorites. All accompanied
by an awesome light show.
On a related note, my Fender is
up & running again.

That shelf
Things are pretty okay!
(Scrabble, anyone?)
I am in an emo-music stage, without
actually being emo. It is all quite
interesting. I blame Amiir for having
supplied me with all that James Blunt lol.
I think I have finally found a pair of
earphones worthy my attention >.<
Title inspired by Older Chests.

Far, far away
I'm in my favorite state of mind.
That is, a bit of melancholia, while
not being utterly depressed.
I wouldn't mind staying like this
for a couple of days, really.
Here's a song fitting my mood:
Tears And Rain - James Blunt
On another note, I got no
homework done this weekend.
Zero.
Nada.

Reality catching up
School is only days away, and I still have a
million things to do. Don't worry Mr. Munro,
the DBQ I did.
I really can't wait to move out. And I still
remember when Felix taught me that term.
Older Chests - Damien Rice
---
Older chests reveal themselves
Like a crack in a wall
Starting small, and grow in time
And we always seem to need the help
Of someone else
To mend that shelf
Too many books
Read me your favorite line
Papa went to other lands
And he found someone who understands
The ticking, and the western man's need to cry
He came back the other day, you know
Some things in life may change
And some things
They stay the same
Like time, there's always time
On my mind
So pass me by, I'll be fine
Just give me time
Older gents sit on the fence
With their cap in hand
Looking grand
They watch their city change
Children scream, or so it seems,
Louder than before
Out of doors, and into stores with bigger names
Mama tried to wash their faces
But these kids they lost their graces
And daddy lost at the races too many times
She broke down the other day, yeah you know
Some things in life may change
But some things they stay the same
Like time, there's always time
On my mind

Confessions by a night owl
- Let's start off with a song
- I like how life is completely unpredictable,
it makes it more interesting - Facebook makes me nervous
- It's time for another song
- I have a dream to spend a night at a café in
Tokyo, see what people I meet, what thoughts
come to my mind, just like in that book - I'll never become a musician, and that makes me sad
- I want to go back to Malaysia
- The hours beyond midnight offer me harmony
- I prefer Asia over Europe, and cities over countryside
- Let Mr. Rice end this list as well
