Excluded middle

"Everything is either a banana or not a banana."
-See how simple the world can be :)
(Exception; Schrödinger's Cat, but that's silly)

I had an awesome start on the weekend!
-
Hey you, out there in the cold
Getting lonely, getting old
Can you feel me?
Hey you, standing in the aisles
With itchy feet and fading smiles
Can you feel me?
Hey you, don't help them to bury the light
Don't give in without a fight.

Hey you, out there on your own
Sitting naked by the phone
Would you touch me?
Hey you, with you ear against the wall
Waiting for someone to call out
Would you touch me?
Hey you, would you help me to carry the stone?
Open your heart, I'm coming home.

But it was only fantasy.
The wall was too high,
As you can see.
No matter how he tried,
He could not break free.
And the worms ate into his brain.

Hey you, standing in the road
always doing what you're told,
Can you help me?
Hey you, out there beyond the wall,
Breaking bottles in the hall,
Can you help me?
Hey you, don't tell me there's no hope at all
Together we stand, divided we fall.

Waiting for the worms

I would like to congratulate Felixu for his new laptop.
It's awesome.
Even though its a Dell.

-
Ooooh you cannot reach me now,

Ooooh no matter how you try.
Goodbye cruel world, its over.
Walk on by.

Sitting in a bunker,
Here behind my wall,
Waiting for the worms to come.
In perfect isolation,
Here behind my wall,
Waiting for the worms to come.

Waiting, to cut out the deadwood.
Waiting, to clean up the city.
Waiting, to follow the worms.
Waiting, to put on a black shirt.
Waiting, to weed out the weaklings.
Waiting, to smash in their windows and kick in their doors.
Waiting, for the final solution to strengthen the strain.
Waiting, to follow the worms.
Waiting, to turn on the showers and fire the ovens.
Waiting, for the queers and the coons and the reds and the jews.
Waiting, to follow the worms.

Would you like to see Britannia,
Rule again, my friend?
All you have to do is follow the worms.
Would you like to send our colored cousins,
Home again, my friend?
All you need to do is follow the worms.

The last song

Watching the stars till they're gone
Like an actor all alone
Who never knew the story he was in
Who never knew the story ends.
Like the sky reflecting my heart
All the colors become visible
When the morning begins
I'll read the last line

Owaranai ame dakishimeta yoru ga asa o mukaeru
Kokoro wa mada nureta mama

In endless rain I've been walking
Like a poet feeling pain
Trying to find the answers
Trying to hide the tears
But it was just a circle
That never ends
When the rain stops, I'll turn the page
The page of the first chapter
Kizutsuku dake kizutsuite wakatta hazu no kotae o
Doushite mada toi kaketeru
Am I wrong to be hurt
Am I wrong to feel pain
Am I wrong to be in the rain
Am I wrong to wish the night won't end
Am I wrong to cry
But I know, It's not wrong to sing The Last Song
Cause forever fades

Kigatsukeba mata hikari-yoru no sora o mitsumeteru
Sukoshi-zutsu kiete yuku our memories
Kizutsuku dake kizutsuite wakatta hazu no kotae o
Doushite mada toi kaketeru

I see red
I see blue
But the silver lining gradually takes over
When the morning begins
I'll be in the next chapter

Owaranai ame dakishimeta yoru ga asa o mukaeru
Kokoro wa mada nureta mama
Kizutsuku dake kizutsuite wakatta hazu no kotae o
Doushite mada toi kaketeru

The wall

-
I wanna go home,
Take off this uniform and leave the show,
But I'm waiting here in this cell because I have to know,
Have I been guilty all this time?
-

I believe the one thing my blog has been
missing is a complete list of the songs
from Pink Floyd's concert "The Wall".
So here it comes, thanks to Domokon.
I highly recommend you to watch it,
symbolic and powerful as it is.

How the stage bit by bit is hidden behind
bricks, until finally a great white wall
divides the audience from the band.
How they then play two songs completely
behind The Wall, which is later to be used
as a screen for the projections.
It's pure genius!

Goodbye (part 2)

Okay I admit it, I lost the battle of Facebook.
Jilly can look forward to her lunch tomorrow,
and I'll talk to Toshi about marriage as soon
as I meet him at a concert.
I hope he won't mind.

-
Oooooooo ooo ooo ooooh
Did, did, did, did you see the frightened ones
Did did, did, did you hear the falling bombs
Did did, did, did you ever wonder
Why we had to run for shelter
When the promise of a brave new world
Unfurled beneath a clear blue sky

Oooooooo ooo ooo ooooh
Did did, did, did you see the frightened ones
Did did, did, did you hear the falling bombs
The flames are all long gone
But the pain lingers on
Goodbye blue sky
Goodbye blue sky
Goodbye
Goodbye

----
Congratulations :)

Goodbye

So... Jilly finally capitulated.
Winner? Me of course.
Looking forward to an expensive
lunch, and to attend a nice
wedding; I finally get to meet
Toshi (maybe he'll even let
me try on his coat).

But... I will stay away from
Facebook anyways, it is
messing with my mind.
